A perfect oasis...especially for families!

It was the perfect oasis right in the city. The staff were very friendly, and professional. The grounds were well-maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was inviting and perfect for families. Overall, just perfect, especially for families. We felt welcomed and safe.

Comfortable room, but could do with modernisation

We stayed here are we add an extra night in Oaxaca and we wanted to stay somewhere with a pool. The room was very comfortable with two big double beds and you can walk into town. It’s also very close to the ADO terminal if you have a trip out of Oaxaca.

The hotel in general is pretty dated and is in need of a renovation. It was like going back in time in some areas.

room was spacious with ac and balcony, beds were comfortable, location is quiet and walking distance to city centre. it is surrounded with trees and is very nice. breakfast is selfservice mexican or menu, they made us vegetarian eggs and were delicious! stuff was kind. we recommend

Very Good

The hotel is really nice. Rooms are wide and comfortable. Restaurant is good. Due to climatical conditions, adding a mini freezer may be a great idea.

The cleaning room person was not easy to talk to. The pool had no towels available and did not bring them after an hour. The service hours of the pool bar are not suitable for enjoying the pool and a drink, it closes to early...

Hotel grounds with all these trees and bushes. Pleasant place. Decent room.

We got a room just next to a noise road but I think it is a price that you need to pay when you book a room via booking.com.

Wonderful

We liked our room, we had two double beds which were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

The pool was a bit difficult to get into and out of. It was also a bit slippery around the edge of the pool. There weren't always enough pool towels. The situation isn't great. It's about 20 - 25 minutes walk to the centre.

The breakfast was decent but the dinner was pretty disappointing. We asked for two rooms close by and the hotel didn't do so. Staff were great, bigger property than expected.

The Mission de Los Angeles is a wonderful oasis in a crowded city. Lovely garden and pool. Friendly and accommodating staff makes this a very pleasant destination.

Great little resort like experience a 20 min walk from Oaxaca City center

The hotel is beautiful but a little aged however so is Oaxaca city! They have a great restaurant and breakfast buffet with fresh made tortillas and quesadillas station and a little of everything you could want to try a Oaxacan breakfast. I liked sitting by the pool and the staff, especially the doormen were great help in finding taxis and other transportation for trips around Oaxaca.

The mattresses are older and a little firm, but the housekeeping is great and provides what you need.

Wonderful

The location and the grounds. It was quiet!

The fan in the room was noisy. They tried to fix it for us, but it was still too noisy to sleep with it on, and the room got warm. The fans are old and likely need replacing.

Good location just a short walk from city centre. Has a pool but we were so busy we didn’t get to use it Comfy bed with plenty of pillows

Very noisy, can hear people dragging suitcases in the night along bumpy exterior. Dated rooms and the satellite tv has many channels but only 1 news in English

Wonderful

Nice little oasis away from the noise of the city. Lovely property. Rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is authentic and delicious. Pool was very nice too.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hotel had an excellent pool and pool bar, a tennis court was available, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I didn't anticipate enjoying the hotel this much!

Great location but avoid paying the included breakfast

Misión Los Angeles is close to Oaxaca city centre and has a nice pool.

We booked our stay with breakfast included but we were not told our breakfast was not the standard buffet offered to other customers. So we had a very limited set of breakfast options all based on eggs for our whole stay. One of us has high cholesterol so we had to request an alternative which the restaurant reluctantly complied.

passable, good but not special

The pool was great and empty most mornings until afternoon. Large old fashioned rooms that were comfortable. Service by pool was also great. Our host got us icy cold beers and nuts and was very attentive

We ordered room service once. It was ok but really high price that you could spent better going to an amazing restaurant near by. Although this hotel is close to Centro it’s not the nicest walk. The intersection is rough, fumes, noisy and people who need help. I wouldn’t walk that way at night. The hotel it self is very safe and quiet. Taxi prices have sky rocketed here in last 10 years so getting to and from the hotel will cost you 80 to 100 pesos. In the lobby it says 60 pesos to down town but very few taxis don’t expect more once you get in.
